Thanks for help so far. Still no luck though. I've topped up the diesel too be sure as fuel gauge has been a bit funny in the past, tried taking off injector pipe but no fuel coming out when turning it over. The pipe that goes too the fuel pump seems completely dry. So seems the problem is the fuel ...

bongo wont start

Hi all. Had my bongo off road for a little while as having new arches etc done. Trouble is won't start now, I'm getting volts too glow plug rail, and plugs are new. seems like it may not be getting fuel, Any ideas anyone, also where do I find the banjo filter too check for blockages? Thanks.

Still having starting problems

hi again. I'm still having starting problems with my bongo. Up until then it's been running fine. Basically when you start it it's hard too start and when it does it acts like it's flooded, once it clears it's fine and runs fine. I've changed the glow plugs at the weekend, the relay appears too ...

Hi thanks everyone for the help. You say it's a 2 min job checking the cold start idle but I dint have a clue how too do it! So any help on this would be greatly appreciated and then I'll have a look at the weekend. Thanks a lot.

Starting and glow plug problems

hi there, Tried starting bongo Saturday after a real cold night and didn't want too start, once it did it ran like it was flooded. Once it's started if you stop it it starts again fine, it seems that it may be the glow plugs, but I only replaced these with ones from the club shop a couple of months ...

Hi, yeah wrong pipe, took the other off, as I crank it I'm getting a spray of fuel out of that pipe. Any ideas?? Thanks

Hi, yeah I turned the engine over, as u turn the key the ignition on it makes what I would describe as a hiss, an a click from the relays, also the cable on what I'm guessing is the fuel pump pulls up. But there is not a great deal of fuel coming from the pipe on top of the injector as I crank it ...

Taken a pipe off one of the injectors, there is a a trickle of fuel there, certainly not enough too worry about shielding my eyes, where would be the best place too go from here? Any suggestions? Ive been running it this week with no fuel cap as it was suggested they clog and can cause problems ...

Hi again, thanks for the suggestions, bongo ran an started fine last week till Friday, an now wont start again! I've checked the glow plug rail an that's gettin just under 12 volts too it, I can also hear both the valves clicking when the ignition is on. The engine turns over but just won't seem too ...

Hi, as far as I know, because it does start in the end, an once it's warm seems too run fine. Unless that isn't a way too tell for sure
