Dexron 111 (3) ATF/Power steering fluid is commonly used. If it's leaking you could add some 'stop leak' for power steering as this sometimes helps to stop some leaks, as seals age.

The V6 is listed as a non-interference engine. The majority (with snapped belts) that Allan (Allans Vehicle Services) has repaired have been fine.
