While doing the work I noticed a lot oil leaking from the rocker gasket and the seal is peeling away. Would you recommend a seal change? Oil was topped up a few months ago and now at half way mark. Leaks are usually ignored until they become pretty bad - as yours has dropped a lot in a short time, ...

It's made by Dometic. If you contact one of their UK distributors, they should be able to tell you if it's still available and if there's an alternative suitable for the Mazda Bongo.

They don't underseal in Japan but your importer may underseal as standard or as an extra. Or you can get it done elsewhere. I'm not familiar with the areas you mentioned. :) But a quick search on the forum found these mentioned - "...Wheelquick, in Wigan, and Adrian at (I think) Jap Direct, in Bury....

15 years today! How did that happen?!

Today is 15 years since I joined this forum in 2004. 8) Ian had already "joined" 25 days earlier, on 9th June that year. :wink: Time really flies when you're Bongoing! I've seen a lot of Bongolife and met a lot of Bongoliers, Bongonauts and Bongoers in that time... Who else has been here for awhile?

Previous MOT'S may have picked up corrosion. If they have then check it's been repaired properly.

I'd check the service history and choose the one that's been lbest maintained. 😎
