Re: V6 alternator
Theres a number on a sticker, on your alternator. You might have to remove the alternator to see it. Then you can match an alternator.
Also in the UK you can get alternators refurbished. I dont know if US has this service.

Re: Bongo 2.5TD 3 way cylinder head water pipe corroded
You can use freeze spray on the pipe, to help remove it, twisting it out. When you fit the new 3-way pipe, put sealer on it and tap the pipe fully into place. That's all the way down to the flange on the pipe. Otherwise they can pop off.

Re: Twin front exhaust pipes for v6 petrol
We've got them before from our Mazda main dealer, Vospers. We phoned them. The parts were always on 'back order' which meant it took from a few days to a few months to arrive.

Re: Rear seat modification advice - one/two seater
We've modified one to take the gullwing seat.
You cut the panel and seat mountings out of one that has a gullwing seat.
Remove your side panel (where the seat will fit).
Clean the sticky stuff off.
Weld the gullwing mountings in place. Then weld the gullwing panel in place - the mountings fit ...

Re: dodgy running with video for example
Great result! Got to love a cheap fix.
Yes new air and fuel filter wont do any harm. Keep in mind that if you out more diesel cleaner in now, you might get more muck in the fuel filter. So finish that process before you change it.

Re: dodgy running with video for example
Its unusual not to find a filter under the spring.
Theres another banjo filter on the back of the pump but you have to strip the pump to access it. That's not an easy job.
You could pour some diesel cleaner and run that through.

Re: dodgy running with video for example
On the fuel line to the diesel pump, theres a banjo filter. Take it out. Clean it. Refit. We've seen the dirty filter cause these problems several times and this might be the simple fix you need.
