I set mine at 18 degrees ( keeps me alert on long journeys) before I switch off (except in really cold weather then it's at 25) It seems to maintain the temperature even without being switched on. Good luck with your search Spent many a day trawling through Yorkshire to find a Bongo for myself. I found a few in the Auto Trader and Pre-loved. Made a circle tour to view them.
