Recommended Fiamma F45s

After having Bongo for five years finally decided to purchase awning.
Any advice on what is best length to get?

The lengths available seem to be 2.3mtr and 2.6mtr.

I think I would prefer 2.6 but does it project to far over passenger door?

Thankyou

Re: Starting issue

Thankyou for suggestions.

Just checked the fuel pump solenoid ( at least I think I did ) and heard click when I turn ign. switch on/off.
Fuel Filter was changed less than year ago.

Would glowplugs breakdown so suddenly?

Good afternoon peeps,

Up until 13.00 today my 2.5 diesel has always started on the button, but today when I tried to start her the engine just turned over with no attempt to catch.

The Breakdown man reckons its the fuel pump as he cant smell any fuel? Anyway he couldn`t do anything about it?
So ...

rear brake pads

Help required.
I have just changed the rear brake pads on the van, seemed to be a straight forward job.
But on clearing up I have discovered that one brake pad on each side has two shims, didn`t look all that close on removing them as
new ones came with shims in situ.
Any ideas why a pad would need ...

What would you consider the ideal length, 1.9 or 2.6 meters.

Also considering hanging it from AVA awning adapter brackets.

stalling

geting a wee bit panicky about van stalling now, as off to North Wales this weekend.

Took it down to 321 today for Julian to have a look, he kindly dropped what he was doing and did a
couple of tweaks that may hold up revs for a while. It did seem better on short trip home.

He diagnosed the ...

Re: Mot, headlamp bulbs, Stalling

Hi Julian, blimey that was quick.

Its a 1999 new shape. ( purchased from 321 a couple of years ago ).

The connectors were jammed tight on spade terminals, I was a bit concerned about breaking the retaing clip.

I had a similar problem with stalling a couple of years ago and you sorted it out for ...

Re: I can`t believe it.

I`ve just double checked my figures.

241.3 miles, filling tank to brim took 29.25 litres (not even half a tank) = 37.5 mpg.

The road was pretty flat, and I don`t reckon I overtook anything.

I did tail gate a lorrry ( not to close) for a few miles which might have helped.
