Re: Air conditioner compressor clutch

Any idea how long since it was last refilled? Normally they put a sticker on somewhere giving the dates last refilled for the aircon. If its likely to have been more than a couple of years it might need redoing anyway!

Re: misfire, not idling right

Its probably worth checking all aspects; Plugs clean and adjust gaps if required, leads make sure the leads and connectors are all clean and in good condition, then distributor cap and rotor, then finally the king lead and back to the spark coil again making sure there clean and in good condition.

Re: Cracked Windscreen

They don't have it listed as its NOT a European vehicle, its imported and hence not in there lists. Try calling them or use a company that does have imported cars in there lists, personally I would ring them.

Re: Front 4x4 wheel bearing

If you look up the 4x4 diagrams for the wheel bearings https://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=3300B&cat=a2ajra05&vin=&imgno=.html#5
then the table top left opens up for the part # S10H33047 or S10H33047A
Google the part number https://www.google.co.uk/search?num=100&newwindow=1&safe=off ...

I believe so, only the colour shade seems to vary, some are greenish some are a golden tint I believe.
Why are you referring to a TWO door van ? You should be referring to a Mazda Bongo Friendee ? There are driver, passenger, side and rear doors that's 4 doors as far as I am aware? There are several ...

Re: 2000 Bongo 2.5 TD auto transmission Sticking between

Welcome aboard!

Probably a good idea to read the actual error code, when the Hold light flashes its telling you that there is an error code generated by the ECU telling you what it thinks is wrong. You can read the error code using the Factsheet in the Club Members area and there is a similar but ...

Re: Flashing Glow Plug Light - unable to diagnose

If your trying to charge a battery which has a Split Charge Relay attached then yes, it will operate once a battery reaches the trigger voltage normally between 13-14 volts, then you will be charging both batterie in parallel. You will need to disconnect the -ve terminal of the LB at least before ...

Re: Has my leisure battery had it or is this normal?

Nope that looks absolutely fine as far as a voltage reading goes, but as I say it doesn't actually indicate a lot of information about the state of the battery itself.

Re: Flashing Glow Plug Light - unable to diagnose

When the LB goes flat (or disconnected) the ECU looses its settings and hence when the LB is recharged the ECU reports the error but there is no code for it as its loss of power! In that situation take it for a run and then the second time of starting it should be fine. However this type of problem ...

Re: Has my leisure battery had it or is this normal?

Right several questions and some background;
All Lead Acid leisure batteries will have a "resting" voltage (i.e. no current being drawn or charging current and allowed 30-60 minutes from last charging) of around 12.6 to 12.8 Volts, the precise voltage will depend on temperature and various additives ...

Re: AFT Roof wont raise or close.

Oh one other thing, don't be tempted to oil or lubricate either the channels that the lifting mechanism runs in or the gas struts!
The mechanism has small plastic wheels that run in the channels, if there lubricated dust and dirt sticks to the oil and causes them to skid and jerk around - just as ...

Re: AFT Roof wont raise or close.

Not sure that is a wise move! Its absolutely critical that both sides are kept in step otherwise you cause the roof to twist and snap, one motor is not normally of sufficient power to lift the entire roof. There have been MANY examples where one motor has come loose and then the roof twists and ...

Re: AFT Roof wont raise or close.

Here are a series of images about the roof in general, from this point on are images about the Teleflex cables and how there driven by the motors, as you can see both Teleflex cables are driven on both sides by opposite sides of the crown pully driven by the motors. http://www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images ...

Re: AFT Roof wont raise or close.

Your aware the that the two Teleflex cables run down from the front/top of the roof (pulling/pushing the mechanism) thru the motor gears and then cross over around the back and go back up the other side again via the gears however they are free on the opposite side, this ensures that both sides of ...
