Re: Sink tap ,cool box not working

Sorted it.

Just the fuse in the 12v hook up lead running from the rear auxiliary socket.

Cheers for the advise.

Sink tap ,cool box not working

Evening all.
I've a rear conversion in my bongo.
the other day, both the cool box and tap stopped working.
I'm presuming it's a fuse issue but I've checked everything by the drivers knee fuse box and they're all fine.
It's a basic rear conversion with a 240v hook up but without a leisure battery ...

2.0 l annoying noise

Morning all.
My 2 ltr bongo has a really annoying resonating noise at around 1750 revs. only really audible when the engine's under load.
I've sat in the back with my wife driving and although it's much quieter, it's still there.
As I'm new to this bongoing lark, I was wondering whether "they all ...

Re: Oil leak. ? Transmission

Sorry to hijack this post.

I have the later style gearbox, with the 2 different temp options on the dipstick.

Is there a different way to check the level on these?

Cheers.

Re: wiring / electrical question

Thanks for the advise guys.

I'm planning on unplugging the connector that enables the beeping when the keys are in the ignition, as per another thread.

Could i utilize this in any way?

Also, is there an easier way to connect an earth (an existing wire perhaps) without attaching it to the body ...

wiring / electrical question

Hi all, I need to wire in a simple 3 wire device to my bongo.
I need an earth, 12v permanent live and 12v switched live.
Apart from the back of the radio, is there any other easily accessible places that you can point me to?
Anywhere in the van will do.

Cheers in advance.

Re: 2.0 l petrol 2004 Bongo question

I thought so too, but he's unsure whether the factory fitted remote locking also incorporates an immobilizer as well.
My insurance company is asking whether it's got anything fitted as standard but I'm struggling to find out whether Mazda fitted an immobilizer at the factory?

2.0 l petrol 2004 Bongo question

Morning all. Picking up my new Bongo tomorrow and just getting some quotes on insurance.
Does anyone know whether my model has factory fitted immobilizer?
It has remote central locking from the key fob but the dealer is unsure whether there is any form of immobilizer?

Cheers in advance.
