Re: Front seats stabbing me- too small...ideas/mx5..?

Hi and i know what you mean, it's the seat belt stalk that stabs you so refurbing the seats won't make any difference. Interesting thought about fitting other seats though.

Re: Sticky throttle.

As promised feedback time, thanks to Simon for giving me confidence to take a look, first thing i noticed was the kick panel was loose and moving around and a large blue relay (i think) was loose and fell out and yes the carpet had moved. so 30 minutes later with thinks adjusted and fitted back as t...

Re: Sticky throttle.

Hi and thanks Simon, better weather here today so i will to that this morning and see how it goes. I forgot to put 2.5d on an N plate so 95'ish and a auto. To be honest it's the auto bit that made it a real pain to drive especially at junctions and tight bends. We let you all know how things go later.

I noticed that when coming to a junction i was struggling to brake as the accelerator was sticking on slightly and running at around 1200 rpm, i could put behind the ...

Re: Coolant loss !

Dore service station close to Sheffield who are known on here have supplied a used part to get me back on the road =D> , do for now and will contact the shop next week to sort a new part so that's one result today. As for bleeding it i'm aware of the bleed nipple under the passenger seat.

Coolant loss !

Ok earlier this evening i heard the voice of corporal Jones - don't panic, easily said than done when your not sure if it is smoke or steam that is filling your cab. Needless to say pull into side of road and jump out and stand well back. Well thankfully not smoke so no toasted Bongo but a dripping ...

Towbars

Hi, i'm thinking of putting a towbar on the Bongo and am wondering if the mounting points are already drilled or is it more technical than this ?, also is it possible to buy the OE electrics and they just plug in or again more complicated than this, many thanks Andy.

Re: plug in coolbox query

I've used my coolbox connected like this for years and found no problems. When were going a long distance and know it will be early evening when we arrive my wife makes a meal and freezes it the day before we travel and then puts it into the coolbox and it's ready to just warm/cook through. Hope thi...

Re: West and North Coast of Scotland

We were based close to Oban for a week at the end of March and had great weather. No bongo at the time but just bought one and were planning to go up the west coast and do a bit of island hopping thanks to Calmac and then drive around the north for 3 weeks in July. [-o<
