rear suspension

New to Bongo Fury
I have just had full rear suspension changed and one of the shockers is knocking all the time was told it is the hanger where the top of the shocker hangs on and it needs replacing can you buy this part or am I going to have to get one made.

You can get new ones, but they are very expensive and have to come from Japan. For second hand, try George at www.bongospares.co.uk

Ref:Rear shocker hanging bracket,
I have been incontact with AMAYAMA SINGAPORE PTE LTD and they can not find this part in there catalogue looks like I am going to have to get part made.

I have found out you can not buy rear shocker brackets you have to buy full number 5 rear cross member which has rear shocker hanging brackets welded to it.

A decent non franchise bodyshop would be able to make up something.
I have restored many cars in the past and nothing is impossible when it comes to body repair its a question of economics usually.
Look for a smaller repairer who does restorations.

That was my suspicion also, good to hear it from someone whose background gives weight to their words.

Just to let every body know I got my rear shocker bracket sorted took it to a Engineering Company they built bracket up and re-threaded now all is ok.
