Pela pump

Post by spitineye » Wed May 06, 2009 8:53 am

Morning all,

I know alot of you have Pela pumps for shifting that pesky oil, and i think i should too.
Which model are you all using? I see there are a few 'professional' level ones, which do have a good capacity. Are the 'consumer' models ok, and is the 6l capacity enough to get it all out without problems? The oil filter will still hold a little anyway won't it?

So there you go, a whole load of questions for you.

Mine is 6l capacity, just keep an eye on it and empty it before it fills, then start again.

My view is you really don't need to spend the money on a professional model, unless yuo are going to use it many times a day like a garage would.

Good bit of kit I recon. :D
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

I use the 6.5 litre version, just enough to catch it all before it spills onto the garden :D

Wow you should have waited a bit Spit. The Machine Mart prices are a tad expensive, same pumps are cheaper from mailspeed Marine.

good job their website seems to be faulty!
Put one in my basket, went to checkout, and it was gone! tried it a few times.
It must have a hole in the bottom...
