Re: 4W ABS light

I had this problem last year. After checking with a multimeter that there was no problem that end - a mate showed me a little tip.

Checking the sensors with the wheel removed, he used a small piece of sandpaper to clean off the 'teeth' on the sensor (they can get significantly 'gunked up' with all ...

Re: wheel arch replacement - dilemma

OK - have now bought a trim removal tool.

Going back to the 'AV' arch replacements - has anybody used them? (obviously want as close a fit as poss!)

How good are the ones from Barnseley Autopanels?

Cheers :D

Re: wheel arch replacement - dilemma

OK - thanks. next question; how easy is it to remove the trim - are there any 'instructions' (for want of a better phrase) - do I start at the sliding door bay, or from the tailgate end?
Do you take it off from the window or from the floor?
I know questions, questions - sorry!

wheel arch replacement - dilemma

Hi all,

always grateful for the advice and great community spirit on this site. My next question/project: am hopefully in the next month going to have the rear arches replaced (have found a decent welder and sprayer - not in the same place unfortunately.)

However, welder tells me; best if I take ...

radiator and coolant hoses - garage quote

Hi all,

my beloved bongo has recently been diagnosed as being in need of a new rad and associated hoses (front to rear metal coolant pipe, centre metal coolant pipe (to matrix) and heater matrix hose.)

Now I have purchased a replacement rad (non genuine part from ebay) - previous rad changed 4 ...

front washers (not working)

Hi all,

purchased a replacement (front) washer motor from Ebay. Local garage fitted it (apologies not that technical).

However, they didn't charge me for fitting it - said the motor was fine. Therefore assuming it is likely to be a wiring problem (can't be fuse, cos wipers still work fine).

Any ...

Suffering some significant coolant loss (coolant alarm came on/stayed on). Immediately stopped and checked level - sure enough - level was low (below the sensor).
Topped up - ok for a few hours - then ...

carbon fibre wrap (vinyl)

Hi all,

lots of good advice about self build kitchens - thanks everyone!

Another question if I may; has anyone used carbon fibre wrap/vinyl (the stuff they sell on ebay) to 'face' mdf or ply DIY kitchen units, and if so, was it successful - any pix and advice much appreciated?

:D
