Hi all,

Any ideas on where to start with the above? Are there sensors or similar that may just need a clean?

Bongo been in for a health check :(

Hi all,

A couple of normal issues to sort, 2 new front brake discs and a rear and middle exhaust pieces, but I also need a new rear prop shaft and an inner drive shaft seal, there was oil everywhere underneath, I think it's the N/S/F diff?

Does anyone have any recommendations on where best to get ...

Alternator woes!

Hi all,

Front bearing unit totally shot on the alternator, tempted to strip and refurb however time is of the essence, I found this on eBay and seemed good

Was wondering if anyone has used these before? My current alternator (excuse the pun) is an 80a unit ...

Bongo love taken a small nose dive

Well my Bongo enthusiasm has been mildly tempered today after a visit to the local MOT station, long story short I need the following and would appreciate any suggestions for reasonably priced parts, MOT failure was for the following reasons:

Offside suspension arm has excessive play in a ball ...

Re: Auto gearbox issues

Sad-Ac

unless you have any evidence that your ATF has been been replaced in the laste two years and that the filter has had a good clean I'd highly recommend you put by 2-3 hours one weekend to do the job, it's straight forward enough and you may wele be surprised with the results...especially if ...

Re: Auto Gearbox Question...

Just thought I'd report back...

Well first I took up some slack on the acelerator pedal, straight forward enough...then onto the removal of the gearbox sump and change of the ATF...

No suction pump so was a gingerly approach to removing all 18 bolts! A nice big pan underneath to catch al the ...

Re: Auto Gearbox Question...

All, thanks for your comments...well the gearbox is quiet and seems smooth I'm also thinking that mild slipping is what I'm experiencing, I'm no expert so may need a 3rd party to provide an opinion, I'm also prone to overthinking things, but if we was to assume that there is some slippage what would ...

Auto Gearbox Question...

Hi all,

As the owner of a previous Bongo and the keeper of a new one, I've a subtle difference in the how the gearbox changes through the gears, don't think it's a biggy but in essence the new Bongo feels 'sloppy' or 'soft' between gear changes, so not sharp or that noticeable, now I'm not sure ...

I've broken something!

Hi all,

Last night I decided to look at the little rear foglight switch to the right of the steering wheel column, I wanted to take a look as the rear foglight was not coming on but the red light on the switch was per mantle on when the light were turned on via the stalk, this was the chain of ...

Re: Rusty Door - Advice appreciated!

My Bongo also ...

Electric & Water Hookup

Hi All,

I recently bought a replacement Bongo, it did have the kitchern conversion done by JAL imports, however the last owner removed the kitchen, the electric and water hookups are still in place on the outside but no evidence of the electric connections inside, is there a typical place these ...
