Re: Smev sink leaking from unused hot inlet

Cheers munroman =D>

I have blanked it off with a short piece of pipe stoppered with a bolt and tape, jubileed at both ends. It's amazing what you can find in your garage when you look - tho I had to nick the bit of pipe from my neighbours garage.

Ultimately I'll do as you suggest and get a Y ...

Smev sink leaking from unused hot inlet

Hi all

Well the nice weather has prompted me to get the bongo ship shape ready for resumption of camping duties rather than just being a daily commute.

Not sure if this is the right board as it is techie but more camping equipment techie than bongo specific techie - please feel to move if I've ...

Re: PMS-3U battery charging problem

This is the unit we have and can confirm the other posts that you do need to flick the selector switch to either car or van for the electric hook up to charge either the starter or leisure battery.

Re: Rev Counter sensor location *Dont delete*

Thanks Julian - it's a 2003 model - will have a look when I'm off work.

Very occasionally the rev counter stops working but I don't get any other symptoms like the hold light flashing.

It may be a dodgy connection as usually a good thump on top of the dash gets it working again, but wanted to ...

Rev Counter sensor location *Dont delete*

Hello

Could someone point me in the right direction to locate the rev counter sensor (NE sensor?) please on a 2.5 diesel.

Thank you. :D

Re: Battery dead as dodo

It really is worth trying to charge it over a couple of days, tho I appreciate your urgent need for it.

I managed to let the battery go totally flat on mine and jump starting from the OHs discovery gave no joy either. Thought I was going to have to get a new one but I stuck it on charge for a ...

Re: Rear Heater controls.

Hi there

Some of the converters (Wellhouse being one I think) remove the rear heater matrix/air con unit so that they can fit in water tanks so it may depend on who did your conversion as to whether it's still there or not.

Re: Blinds, lights etc to leisure battery

Thanks John.
I think I had come across that method in my trawls through previous posts too.

I've decided to try corblimeys instead as it doesn't involve cutting the wires to the fuse box which in all honesty I would be nervous about even with pippins instructions.

Blinds, lights etc to leisure battery

Now, I know there has been umpteen postings on this topic so don't shoot me just yet - I would just like somebody to confirm that what I'm going to buy and do is right.

I had originally planned to get a Willinton kit for ease, but since I already have a split charging system all wired up to the ...

Oil Filter

Could some kind knowledgeable peep out there try to clarfiy for me the correct Blueprint part no. for an oil filter for the diesel please.

The compatible database shows ADC42105 as do some posts, but other (earlier posts) mention ADC42110. Which one is it? I'm a wee bit confused - as usual :roll ...

Re: white dial thingy

Hi there

I haven't actually bought that one, but last year I did enquire about the late model diesel ones which they didn't have showing on their website either. They did have a couple in stock, although I never got around to buying one. So it's worth giving them a call/sending an email as they may ...

Re: vitrifrigo C42L

Hi there

I have the same fridge and have still got the 'destructions' for it. These show that the fridge will cut out when the voltage drops to below 10.4

So if you're able to measure the battery voltage you'll be able to confirm missfixit's diagnosis

Re: France trip

Never had a problem with my Visa debit card with any of the automated pumps 2 years ago, usually the cheapest fuel too, although that saving is probably negated by the foriegn use charge on the card #-o Still prefer to use that for safety, than carry around a load of cash though.

I'm with you on ...
