Am actually awY at work that week so won't be around to have look.
It sounds as though the only option is the air suspension I think.
Thanks for the offer.

Stronger rear springs
Hi folks,
Just been reading through the posts on suspension, but can't find any on stronger springs just ones about the air ride upgrades.
Has anyone used springs from another type of car possibly?
Cheers Charlie

Wheel widths
Hi folks,
Am looking for a bit of advice on what width of rims will fill the arches but not scuff them.
I have like the standard 15" alloys on it, but the tyre walls are cracking so looking at a full set of wheels and tyres say in the £500 to £600 region.
Any advice would be great would 8j be to ...

Re: Noise when engine running
Thanks for the help earlier in the week, the noise I was getting was the scavenger fan. I've replaced that now and fan runs nicely.
Next noise... http://youtu.be/xVdfm99noHo
Hopefully you can hear it over the engine sound. It sounds like a hamster in a wheel.

Re: Turbo Whistle / scream
You were very lucky as the stud tend to snap off, so hopefully yours has just worked loose. The whistling noise is caused by the gases blowing past the metal gasket.
Yes totally understand where the noise was coming from now, never even entered my mind it being the manifold at the time, but I did ...

Re: Turbo Whistle / scream
Is it like a slipping fan belt squealing sound? If so, I would suggest you check out the no. 1 exhaust manifold stud.
Buy that man a pint!!! Right on the money, just went and whipped of the exhaust shield to find it a bit black round number one cylinder and the lower bolt tightened by two turns ...

Turbo Whistle / scream
Hi folks,
I have noticed on my bongo that from 2000 revs to 3000 revs my turbo whistle is more like a scream which seems to have come about after a real long trip away of about 500 miles.
It doesn't scream when just reving, but only under light load on the road, just wondering if anyone else has ...

Re: AFT not going up
When I bought my bongo it was the same the roof wouldn't go up for the guy as it had not been used in several months, I think I was lucky as I removed the connections at the rear panel and powered the units straight from the battery and the motors started working and reconnected the ECU and it has ...

Re: About to fit front anti roll bar droplinks
I did the drop links for its test last month and there was no issues. Also did the bushes yesterday with it just driven up on my set of ramps.
Am about to do the drop links again tomorrow due to the rubbers cracking all ready on the new ones, the guy I bought from has already supplied new ones ...

Re: 52mm Gauges
I fitted two small digital volt meters to the top of the clubby hole in the middle, one for each battery. Not the round ones, but looks good. I wired them through a couple of switches so they can be turned off when not camping.

Re: Pic of a Recycled shogun bull bar installed
Am just glad I whipped the bar off my Shogun before I sold it.
It does look good. And with a good set of mountings I fabbed up myself.
