Re: Piston Rings & Main Bearings

Just noticed a typo should read Mag Engines predictive text taking over again.
They can supply recon bottom ends as well but as I said my was in amazing condition despite over 100,000 miles. The oil jets under the piston and diesels mm natural lubrication probably help a lot to minimise wear.

Re: ecu and welding

The earth leads must be disconnected from both batteries or the welding current will flow to them. Big risk of them exploding.

Re: replacing piston rings

The ring gap should always be checked when fitting new rings as if there is insufficient clearance for expansion increased wear or seizure may occur. Workshop ...

Re: Headgasket failure

i would definitely go for a new head and gasket and do it yourself if your competent enough with original mazda gasket not the cheap version.
I have done this myself with a new radiator and waterpump at the same time. i found it a fairly easy job and have no problems since several years on now ...

Re: Replaced my lights today heres the new look

when on main the h1 projector lights stay on and the h7 main beam also comes on.
the lights come with a wiring loom so you only connect one side of the old h4 lights to operate the relays that draw the power direct from the battery.
the lights have manual adjusters but they can be removed and the ...
