Ahh OK I found the issue, when I was re-assembling the engine I found the little solenoid thing was connected with a dodgy taped up wire, with a little bit sticking out. Looks like it shorted to ground and blew the fuse.
Replaced fuse, turned the engine over and saw the fuel being drawn up (I ...

What size 12 point socket for head bolts?
Hey All,
I'm replacing the head as mine had most likely succumbed to something or other.. Just want to buy a 12 point socket, anybody know what size?
Thanks,
Leigh

Re: Auto won't change up past 3/4 gear
Right well I got a weird fault code from the ATX computer, I shorted the input pin and the HOLD light flashed like this:
LONG flash 6 short flashes 9 short flashes
(Cant remember if I said that already?)
Anyway, this does not seem to relate to any fault code I can find..
So I replaced the TPS ...

Re: Auto won't change up past 3/4 gear
The hold light seems fine when I press the hold button.. But I've never seen it light up any other time.
Now I did hear something about a diagnostic interface? That sounds handy!

Auto won't change up past 3/4 gear
Hiya,
I have a diesel auto Bongo which recently no longer gets above about 3rd/4th gear. I'm going 60 and engine is at about 2100RPM, won't go much above 60 without getting to 3K+ RPM!
Sometimes it gets into an odd state where it won't get above about 40MPH, sounds like 2nd gear.

Re: Leaky injector (not pump) - FIXED
Turns out the leak wasn't from there (injectors) at all, which is good. Just down from that area there is the return pipe for the leak-off/return rail. There is a small length of pipe connecting this return rail back to the injector pump.

Leaky injector (not pump)
Hi Folks,
I have a fantastic Bongo, got her cheap due to issues (rust mainly) and I'm fixing her up. So far so good, suspension fixed (thanks forum!), exhaust fixed, bodywork being sorted (That fibreglass stuff is a pain, especially when melts through your gloves!)
However, I noticed a fuel leak ...

Yup, twas an easy job, thanks for the advice, all worked well!

Suspension ball joint covers - how hard?
Hi All,
I just had a sad MOT fail with exhaust leak (easy fix), fuel system leak (should be OK once I find where the leak is) and a suspension ball joint cover that no longer prevents the ingress of dust and stuff.
There is also corrosion on the radiator brackets, no problem fixing this myself.
