Leaky injector (not pump)

Hi Folks,

I have a fantastic Bongo, got her cheap due to issues (rust mainly) and I'm fixing her up. So far so good, suspension fixed (thanks forum!), exhaust fixed, bodywork being sorted (That fibreglass stuff is a pain, especially when melts through your gloves!)

However, I noticed a fuel leak because it's all over the place. After a lot of looking I've found the leak and it appears to be coming from between an injector and the engine (image on link below).

So it looks like a crush washer/gasket which is fine, but of course because of the leakoff return you have to take the whole lot apart to replace one, which I suppose is a nice way to spend a few hours.

However... I cannot seem to find any injector gasket/washer kits with everything I would need. And also, it may be a injector problem anyway.

Has anybody seen this kind of leak before?

Looking at the "wash" if the injector pipe (nut)is not leaking I would inspect the leak off pipe for a crack/s.

Turns out the leak wasn't from there (injectors) at all, which is good. Just down from that area there is the return pipe for the leak-off/return rail. There is a small length of pipe connecting this return rail back to the injector pump.

Now, there SHOULD be clips to secure and compress the flexi pipe to the rigid metal pipe from the rail, this is missing (see pic) and you can see the gap between the pipe and the metal tube, and some droplets of fuel glistening in the camera light.

When I ran the engine with the camera looking at the joint, you can see occasional squirts of fuel that were making it up to the area where the injector bolts to the engine, causing a little pool of fuel (a few drops) to collect there and fool me into thinking the leak was from there!
