What size 12 point socket for head bolts?

Post by frinkemon » Mon Jan 22, 2018 12:01 am

Hey All,

I'm replacing the head as mine had most likely succumbed to something or other.. Just want to buy a 12 point socket, anybody know what size?

Thanks,
Leigh

Which engine have you got?

I'm guessing not the V6 as you say 'head'.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

"where did you get these figures from as the ranger manual I have says 29nm then 90deg. and then another 90deg" - I turn bolt and look what crushd before - my old head, my old block or bolt.....and ask any people - check torque too....it dont "techinfo" from manual book - it only experienced
