Thanks Bob & Geoff. I have just spoken to George & I need to call him back on Monday when hopefully he will be able to send me a blue box & , fingers crossed, that will sort it! Thanks for that Rita. I have just looked & the wires attached to the white casing are there but the blue box has been completely removed.....there is nothing for me to reconnect the wires to.
So, I am back to square one unfortunately & I need to buy an alarm.
Any suggestions please as I am not sure ...

garage have looked and say that there isn't any wires for a buzzer as far as they can see. I already looked in the box which is on the right of the steering column & couldn't see any disconnected wires. could it be possible that it's been removed completely?? & if so, I really need to buy one that ...
