my Bongos gear box had a fit the other day and made a lot of noise and the gears seemed to slip. I stopped and waited for a bit as I thought the gearbox had died and then it was okay again! I've noticed though that it doesn't go into gear straight away and revs a lot before going into the next high gear (like when the clutch goes on a manual).
My usual mechanic doesn't want to go near it so I'm hoping to get a recommendation for a decent Bongo mechanic around the Eastbourne (East Sussex) area?
Also my springs need replacing. Can anyone prepare me with a rough cost as to what damage this will do to my bank account??? I'm might sell it if it's too much
