I was peering underneath Daisy and noticed what looks like an oil leak coming from the middle nut on the bulbous bit on the middle of the rear axle (could that be the diff...?)
Will it be a case of simply tightening the nut up to stop it, or is it a bit more technical than that...?
Many thanks as ever.

nip it up
if you have the oil might be time to change it

Check the breather on top isn't bunged up. If it is pressure can build up and blow the oil out through the seals.

Thanks both. Re: the breather - do you recommend any particular way to clean it out if that's the problem? (sorry to be so dense...!)

Re: Rear axle oil leak - Help!
grab the breather, then twist it, backwards and forwards both directions, then try and lift as you turn, this will free it off a tad.

The breather unit is best removed, cleaned, tested and refitted if ok.
