cheers simon, the one shown was marked 82 degc, correct overall size, but wrong in every other way, but it worked

Motorad make Failsafe Thermostats...... could be one of them...not seen one myself

good to know it will get you home if your really up against it.
this one had been in for years and was still opening and closing dead on spec. must be a good make.

That what it says mate, hope you don't have a sleepless night worrying about it. It is the genuine mazda part ordered via chassis no. and collected and paid for by me, with my discount of course.

If it is a "Fail Safe" it will have two spring clips one on each support.
