Sediment light

Hi got in bongo today she started fine and seems to be running as normal, but the sediment light and battery light are still on on. Any ideas cheers in advance Rob

It means your alternator is on the way out.

seiment and battery light point to charging problems
could be alternator

Just followed fact sheet in members area and was having readings of 11.6 no load and 10.7 with ac headlights and radio on. Will now remove and drop off alternator for reconditioning

will it come up with a code if wire is not pluged into filter?...

No neither the alternator/charge or sediment lights go thru the ECU they go direct to the console;

i pulled out my sediment power cable eariler to do some work and forgot to re connect,will it freek anything out?
