Rear suspension rubber blocks
Anybody got a picture of these in place as I dont think my Bongo has any.

Do you mean the Bump Stops,if so bolted on the chassis above the axle. 28-111B

Hi thedogsbollox,
Dont discard the old BS plate and set screws,thes can be adapted to be used with alternative stops for a few squid.

I'd love to hear how others have made their own, adapted the baseplate for other models of rubber stops etc. Sounds like good factsheet material

Well mine are definitely not there. So I think a bit of DIY is needed. I will of course take some photos. Any pointers, materials?

the plates that mount them will be there tony. unbolt them and use them as a template.
you can drill the plate and screw/glue any rubber block to it or.
i just got a piece of flat bar, get a measured piece of the D section rubber, thread the bar through, then bend steps into it then bolt up to the chassis.
this gives a nicer softer hit when on full load, but still does the job.

Excellent stuff...but British Rail Pork Pies are quite good, if a little harder than standard rubber
