2.0l Spark plug gap

Does anyone know what plug gap I should set for a 2002 2.0 Bongo?

Plugs are NGK BKR5E and it has an LPG conversion.

Hi,

I would imagine 1mm~1.1mm, (old money .040~.044)

Normally they are coded, IE NGKRSE-11 would represent 1.1mm.

Normally they are coded, IE NGKRSE-11 would represent 1.1mm.
They are indeed -11's : but isnt that the gap that they are supplied with rather than the gap that is recommended for a particular engine (generally - rather than Bongo specific)?

You would think so,but spark plug designers tend to go for the most efficient gap for the particular plug.(Basically)

The general opinion on LPG forums is to use a slightly smaller gap .. as a smaller gap = less voltage = less 'strain' on the ignition system ..

There are dedicated NGK /LPG available .. although Paul at lpgimports who converted my V6 said that regular 'cheapo' plugs are fine for LPG systems

Saying that i use 'normal' Iridium plugs in my Toyota 2.4 LPG with no issues and change them every four years ..
