Does anyone know what plug gap I should set for a 2002 2.0 Bongo?
Plugs are NGK BKR5E and it has an LPG conversion.

Re: 2.0l Spark plug gap
Hi,
I would imagine 1mm~1.1mm, (old money .040~.044)
Normally they are coded, IE NGKRSE-11 would represent 1.1mm.
Cheers..

They are indeed -11's : but isnt that the gap that they are supplied with rather than the gap that is recommended for a particular engine (generally - rather than Bongo specific)?Normally they are coded, IE NGKRSE-11 would represent 1.1mm.

You would think so,but spark plug designers tend to go for the most efficient gap for the particular plug.(Basically)
Cheers.

Re: 2.0l Spark plug gap
The general opinion on LPG forums is to use a slightly smaller gap .. as a smaller gap = less voltage = less 'strain' on the ignition system ..
There are dedicated NGK /LPG available .. although Paul at lpgimports who converted my V6 said that regular 'cheapo' plugs are fine for LPG systems
Saying that i use 'normal' Iridium plugs in my Toyota 2.4 LPG with no issues and change them every four years ..
