Remote Control Key Fob
I've seen a second hand one advertised on Ebay and was wondering how straightforward it is to programme it to use on my Bongo

Not sure but I imagine it's not that simple. Be interested in finding out though.
I've considered an alarm with remote, such as a hawk instead, you get an alarm (ok maybe not the best in the world but it's something) and remote central locking.

hi there does ure van already have remote locking?if it does it may be possible to program the remote to ure van ,i work in a ford/mazda dealer and the older mazda's are quite fidlely to progam sometimes best of luck.

It already has remote locking and the fob being sold is the identical make but obviously will need programming. Do Mazda do this?

I have a Hawk alarm, immobiliser, remote cental locking etc. It is a great addition and has many more features than other car alarms. Mine has remote starting, autolocking, proximity locking / unlocking, anti-hijacking locking, hazard light turn on when front doors opened, status check etc. etc.
Underground, Overground, Bongoling Free, the Bonglers of Bedford, common are we ...

Hi geggsie don't see why not as long as the remote is fully operational,not sure of the exact procedure as I'm on the ford side of thing's but it can't be that bad,i hope'

I think a few people have bought these on thr forum, but not aware of anyone that's managed to get them working as yet.
