really stupid question

Post by shadow » Sat May 09, 2009 10:38 am

HI folks, thanks for the advice we've had so far - really helpful, as after overheating problems (eventually fitted new water pump and crank pulley (it broke) have had no problems - just needed a water top up but hopefully that's just an airlock working its way out but anyway, on to the question:

how do you get in to change the blasted air filter? I picked one up from Bongobits in Plymouth expecting it to be as straight forward as on any other car but no - not a clue,, and worse, it looks like the blasted thing wouldn't even be able to fit into the housing even if I could get into it.

So, how do you change the ***** air filter. Got really poor mpg at the mo and this is the first port of call,

thanks again

Come on Shadow tell us what you did!

It didn't involve looking under the bonnet and not under the seat did it?
