Essentially one that doesn't make too much mess. White lithium grease is pretty good.

I did mine with a spray can of White Grease a few weeks ago, since the roof had started needing a push to get it to stop beeping when being raised. It's now much smoother in operation, but I struggled to get any grease into the highest runners tucked up in the roof - the "straw" on the can just isn't long enough. Anyone found a solution to reaching these?

Lubing the middle runner of the sliding door also made a huge difference to it's smoothness - it was getting a bit crotchety about opening when parked on a slope.

Hubby did this to ours back last year - I hadn't realised and nearly flung the door off it's hinges! :shock: Needless to say, it worked well, and now he lets me know when he's done it! :lol:
