Wheels again

So Bumbly you've noticed that the space saver is smaller. Maybe thats why they call it a space saver.
My point was that having got a spare thats the the same size as the main wheels and having put say the larger specified correct Bongo rear tyre on and then had a flat on one of the rear tyres, the spare could go on and suddenly you're not illegal at all. In fact you dont even have to rush and change any tyres as you would be perfectly legal.
This also removes the risk in using a space saver.

Back to my question- which tyre on the spare , the 195 or the 215?

Well I reckon that either one must be better than the space saver, we had to get home recently using the space saver on the rear, not a nice experience

My point entirely. As to 195 or 215 there are points for and against both,

I have 215's all round, so the choice for the spare is simple. I now have a nice steel wheel (courtesy of Goose in the Free stuff section), but just need to source a suitable tyre, preferably second hand.
