Re: Moving the Roof Lock Cancel switch
Ok, so done a bit of mythbusting today. Shorting out the switch doesent work to bypass it as the switch has to be pressed then released before the roof will close.Simon Jones wrote:Dunno. One way to find out

The link to the Maplin remote kit I posted earlier can be configured for momentary switching so would save all the extra wiring.

I agree. I'm 5'9" and can just about reach it, but I was thinking of just using a basic 'remote' ...

There's always a 'bigger picture'

Re: Moving the Roof Lock Cancel switch
We tend to keep a large umbrella in the roof so this often gets used to prod the switch.
Re: Moving the Roof Lock Cancel switch
Hello folks, not looking to move, instead needing a replacement switch, anyone spotted suitable replacement options anywhere.?
I’ve currently wired in a simple push switch which works fine, but am looking for one that’ll slot straight into the space.?
(All the ones I’ve seen so far are circular in shape like an ignition push switch).
Cheers, Mick
