Coil light flushing

Post by NoiseAngelo » Thu Feb 10, 2022 8:46 pm

On my 2002 diesel 2,5 the coil light won’t stop flashing even while driving.

My mechanic says he doesn’t have the old OBD plugs to diagnostic.

What shall I do? I was planning to hit the coast over the weekend.

Thank you guys.

This actually happened me last week after changing the glowplugs (along with the scavenger fan switching itself on intermittently)

Turned out I forgot it plug in a connector beside the handbrake

he Glowplug light flashing indicates as the garage has said that the ECU is reporting a fault. You read the error code by using a link wire and lamp to see the flashes from the OBD socket. There is a Factsheet in the members area detailing the steps to read the code.
