Post by langtoftnick » Tue Aug 03, 2021 7:48 pm

Bongo 1995 2.5 Wlt vin sgl5 104891… bongo shop says 93 mm plugs, as do other sources, but mine has 102mm…. How can that be?

Any info gratefully received!

Thanks

The extra length is outside the engine.
It just means the busbar is further away from the head and less likely to short out which the shorter ones do if not checked carefully!

Huh? Surely it’s the length of the heater element which means if it’s too long it will smash into the top of the piston at tdc?

No, the internals are the same, the difference is above the head/ thread.
