oil leak

Post by gasman50 » Fri Apr 17, 2020 10:52 am

Hi i have just noticed my 2002 v6 has a slight oil leak below radiator on the drivers side there are two pipes with oil on them and oil on pan underneath. What are these pipes connected to? Would it be a easy job to repair? Hope someone can help
Many thanks Mark

They'll be the pipes that run the gearbox fluid through the heat exchanger in the bottom of the radiator.

Don't know if it's a pipe or the rad leaking, but a new rad will mean bleeding the system. :?

There is a dipstick to check level in auto box, driver's side rear. Check with engine up to temp, running, and cycle gear selector a few times first.

Hope that helps.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
