I intend to change my atf fluid and would like to do a thorough job
My question is what is the best method to ensure i get all of the fluid out specifically from the torque converter?
I understand i can pump fluid out via the dip stick and drop the sump ..however i'm unsure if doing it this way would clear the torque converter.
Many thanks Tim

Not sure you ever can drain it completely see viewtopic.php?p=683745#p683745

Re: Atf fluid removal
Hello.
I drained mine, well as best I could through removal of the sump, therefore allowing me to clean the filter too. I refilled it with around 4 litre. I appreciate I could not fully drain it all, but after 200 miles drained it again only this time using a electric pump via the filler tube, topping up with just over 3 litres. The combined efforts have gone a long way to changing most of the aft oil.
Hope that helps.
