MX5 clock fitting
Hi
I've got hold of the MX5 clock/cubby combination. It has been supplied with the plug.
I just wondered if anyone could help with which wires to connect up to get it working.
I beieve I will only need a live and a negative but don't know if thats right or even which colours they might be.
It's too much to hope they are simply red and black.
Thanks in advance.

Re: MX5 clock fitting
Thank you. Yes, this does half the job for me. Now I need to identify which are the equivalent wires on my bongo. I'm afraid I have no electrical skills at all and I wouldn't know how to use an electrical tester even if I had one. I'm hoping I can identify them by coulour at some point.Northern Bongolow wrote:does this sort of thing help any.

The wiring on the stereo plug where you can take feeds from (soldered) are :
BLUE / RED +ve PERMANENT
BLUE +ve IGNITION
RED / BLACK ILLUMINATION
BLACK (thin) NEGATIVE
BLACK / RED (heavy) NEGATIVE
BLUE / RED +ve PERMANENT
BLUE +ve IGNITION
RED / BLACK ILLUMINATION
