If they can do it with a Hummer or a Mercedes 4x4 they can do it with a Bongy !

I think it would be cool & definitely unique. Obviously a challenge

maybe it has been tried already ??
So,out came the hacksaw and....

Hi,

There used to be a 6 wheel drive Mk1 Range Rover around here so anything is possible if one has the time, inclination, knowledge, facilities & money.

Agreed

Pity we could not club together as a project to complete one. I bet a complted model done properly would sell for a fortune given its rarety and versitility

As i said first off onĺy a day dream

The RAF & Royal Navy had some six wheel Range Rovers as crash tenders.

Some had the third axle driven, some not.

Bob - I didn't know about those, it might have been a conversion on one, but it had the proper RR rear end. I only saw it once, in the dark and did a double take, but I do know of the guy who put it together. He used to take Landys, among other things and do fantastic things to them. A friend of mine had a Defender of his for some time that looked almost standard from the outside, but was rather interesting at traffic lights. A bit like the Overfinch, but much less conspicuous.

Love the idea of a stretched Bongo. It would be a sensation at shows, a good investment and really push the Bongo name.
Also interesting, though many will no doubt know about it, seen a while ago at ADS in Bristol - a Bongo pickup conversion in metallic blue with stainless bling.

I think Rolls Royce were the first to do it weren't they?

I like the idea of a Bongo walking on water. Just don't leave the sliding door open as the passenger won't be able to reach out and shut it.
