I have no idea to be honest. I only use diesel here.philpdr wrote:Would there be any point/problems using something like Millers when running with a veg oil mix?
Common sense would suggest it would be like having a Diesel Supreme + your own specified Veg oil percentage + some carbon/fuel line cleaners. But I have no idea how it would interact with veg oil for sure.
I will sort a photo out round the EGR ASAP bit busy with work at the moment. Myself I used BG244 as a intense cleaner once after buying the Bongo and Millers in most tanks ever since.
Driving style counts for a big part of fuel efficiency. Once on a long run I literally listen to the engine and you can hear and feel that at a certain speed it just feel perfect. Like a perfect balance between revs/momentum and quietness of the engine i.e. least effort for speed driven. Then you know you have hit the ECO SPOT. Realistically for me this is about 53-55MPH which is going to be a bit slow at times for some motorways.Always be safe over and above efficient.
So many roads seem to have speed restrictions anyway these days and loads of lorries only do 50-55Mph so it is not as bad as you might think. It just takes time to get there ! Multiple journeys I do 40mpg without any problems.
Going to be honest whenever I see Bongo's they are never driving at the speed I do. They are always flying by, no wonder the diesels 30mpg average. 70mph-80mph gobbles fuel up fast. My engine is about 148,000KMS off the top of my head which might go in it's favour. But I can see no reason why any other diesel bongo cannot achieve the same.
They call me light foot.
