I have the automatic aircon/heating version (2.5 diesel 1995) and it seems to blow cold air on all temperature settings except 31C (blows hot air), 30.5C (blows warm air), 30C (blows slightly warm air) - all other settings it blows either ambient temp air (i.e. air from the outside) or cooled air.
Is that right -I was expecting it to maintain the chosen temp by blowing warm air on other settings as well.
I have cleaned out the little fan thingy in the dash by the glovebox, any ideas what I should try next to investigate further, or do I just need to get the instructions on how to use the controls....!

Check the servo, link wire and control vane rod down in the passenger footwell, the servo controls the position of the vane inside the air mixing box its part G3-10 on the wiring diagram below;

and its located here;

Excellent, thanks. I will look tomorrow.

I never knew that any were fitted with that style of heater way back in 1995.
