brake pipe renewal
Hi everyone, had to change my mid to rear metal brake pipe and had a hell of a job getting it off ( goes over the top of the fuel tank
)
Is it legal to replace the whole length with a flexible pipe???????

Re: brake pipe renewal
There is no reason why you can not use PUCKER brake hose, as these vehicles already use them.
The hoses would need to be of the correct length and secured (bracketed), and you could experience some sponginess with the brake pedal as a result of using this type of hose..
Good Luck.

Re: brake pipe renewal
Use braided hose and you won't get the spongyness.

Re: brake pipe renewal
Hi and welcome moffat
talking about brake pipes I'm going to lightly rub mine down with fine sanding and then re-grease them, trying to get the whole underside sealed for winter
hope you get it sorted
