2WD drive shaft.

Is is possible to lubricate the universal joints on the 2WD drive shaft? Also, if the joints are shot, is is possible to replace them or do you have to replace the complete shaft?

It is possible to grease the UJ (Hardy Spicer) if it has Grease Nipples Fitted, and yes you can fit replacement UJ to the prop shaft .

looking at the other car forums discussions replacement of the bongo (staked type) not circlip type seems really hit and miss as they are hard to do well as the balance is very important, there are companies out there that will do a great replacement with grease nipple fitted. the standard bongo joint is not fitted with a grease nipple.
