Hadyn Coolant / Temp Alarms

Post by TimC » Fri Mar 20, 2015 6:09 pm

Hi all

Looking to get one of these setups - . Coolant alarm seems easy enough - but I'm a bit confused by the temp sensors:

TM2 - basic sensor with alarm set level

TM1 - Newer version of TM2 that can record max temp and can also alarm for low oil pressure

TM4 - Temp sensor with some more messages (e,g, sensor unavailable) but no max temp record. Can do oil pressure and also control the fan with a £10 relay

Does that seem fair? What do you really need?

I've got a mason temp alarm (http://www.townace.plus.com/ie/ietemga2.htm) along with a homebrew temp gauge, but one something a bit more adjustable and tidy

Cheers

Haydn's LCA has the added benefit of automatic self-test whenever you turn the ignition on.
