fuel gauge - followed worksheet - always showing fuel level

Post by Frediculous » Mon Sep 22, 2014 2:00 pm

So, along with almost every other Bongo owner it seems, I have an issue with the fuel gauge!

I've gone through the worksheet and tried some of the quick fixes. I first tried to earth the tank from underneath - but this didn't have any effect so I thought I'd lift the carpets and try and earth it from inside.

The fuel gauge now shows a level of fuel (not sure if its the right level....) but it constantly shows it even with the key out of the ignition - is this normal?

I'm slightly sceptical of what I've done because the first fix didn't work......
