Hi there
I have got a new dial for my bongo from ebay, i was wondering how i would change it? i know the dash display part comes out really easy but im not sure what to so next any help or advice would be gr8, didn't to put it in a garage if it could be done yourself

munkimagic - I can confirm what Ian says. I (luckily) joined before buying a Bongo. BF is probably as important to me as the b****y car. You cant get more value for £10-14.

Munki -If like me you dont fancy removing the speedo needle - I just cut through the speedo face from the mileometer to the trip meter and it flexed easily enough to remove the dial over the needle. Repeat with the new face and the jobs a good en -you cant see the cut when reinstalled

Along the same lines - my HOLD light flashes and the speedo stops working from time to time. I understand the fact that my speedo has been chipped may be why this fault is coming up. Would it be possible to unchip it and use the sticky(?) speedo scale to make it more reliable and avoid the flashing?

Many threads on this subject - dont fit a sticky faceplate on the speedo -the lights wont shine through. Get a new faceplate -mine cost £6.00 and is excellent
