Hi All
I have discovered a switch in my roof when raised it says cancel lock can anyone explain what this switch is for?

You need to press this switch to allow the roof to lower! Its a safety device, to make sure you check what's in the roof before lowering it! The roof will also stop half way down and will require the normal raise/lower switch to be released and pressed again to complete lowering again a safety check to make sure that the material is laying correct and that nothing is going to jam the roof when fully lowered.

The switch you mention in this thread is the Roof Lock Cancel switch, it allows you to unlock the roof to allow lowering it.
If there wasn't this safety feature you could squash a person or equipment inside the roof, just by touching the raise/lower switch ....

Might be worth investing in an owners manual (around £20) which will explain all the controls for you.
