[quote="andyb36"]ive just had my rx 8,s refurbed in smoked chrome

they look like the gun metal grey

I think a bongo in that colour would be very nice
I love decals - my arches are being done next week and then off for some decorating
a few decals to match the wheels

I have my wheel spokes done in chrome paint but a whole car would be hard and expensive.
I also like decals as it is not permanent but I'm not daring enough to put huge ones on.
I saw a nice T5 with a large mountain range decal over the rear wheelarches and that looked good.

although you don't like my green colour - ok - not your thing

I will post a pic of the decals once done

hopefully they will do justice

again not to all tastes

and I respect that

after 7 years - you just need a little change here and there to keep the faith

I nearly sold her last year - and at a car boot I was attending with my daughter - a guy came round asking questions lol

it was the guy that nearly bought it ( until I backed out )

he didn't recognise because I had a wind out awning attached and different colour wheels

lol- he said - I nearly bought one of these last year lol

It.s not that I don't like that colour as it looks great on the Bongo, Its just I want to make it a bit different without going over the top. a guy local to me has one your colour and it looks mint, he really looks after it. So I do like it really.
Look forward to seeing the decals.
I like seeing what other people do and respect anybodies choices, it would be a very sad world if we were all the same eh?
I need to be happy with what i decide, I'm gonna do a bit colouring in see what it looks like.
Just cleaned mine, and took the aero badges off and it looks better already.

You health and safety guys are all the same can you not see I had my eyes shut, and I had my glasses on so double protection.

After all the discussion I took the Aero badges off the side and painted the spoiler black and I like the look of it now so might leave it for a while. Thanks for all the input. I will probably change my mind again in a few weeks.

It's me who should have had my eyes shut but once an anorak always...

Some of the long time forum members might remember Keith (AKA keefysher) who had a complete respray in this colour which I believe is popular with the VW chaps.

What about honda Pirates Black? Looks black in dull weather but has more an aubergine/purple look in the sun, think it would look amazing on a Bongo 8)

That looks really nice but I am having second thoughts after I have had lots of positive comments on the white, a few more tweaks and it might look how I want it. Then I just need to blow the areas in that need it.
