Post by grizzlya58 » Wed Feb 05, 2014 5:49 pm

hi.can anybody tell me if they have renewed water pipes on the bongo, I had a look under mine around the gearbox area and noticed a few rusty pipes, some short ones and long. they seem pretty bad ,so I was wanting to renew them before I go galavanting this year, can you buy them, or can they be made up from something like hydraulic pipe, any help would be great thanks, :)

Try the Bongo Shop - see top right corner of this page look under coolant ! You don't say the vehicle type so .... but yes if you do a search others have the same problem and have replaced / repaired.

If you do this yourself be sure to bleed it properly.

This isn't an unusual repair so any Bongo Friendly garage can do it.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

I've got some others as well, email me for details [email protected]. But take a look at the Hoses factsheet in the members area so you can find the part numbers of the ones you need.
