fluid leak

hi guys, just noticed a patch of fluid 0n the flags under the van 2.0 litre petrol, its about a foot in and centre of the side sliding door, I can see a sump just before the prop shaft,

Is it coolant or transmission fluid? could be either there. The coolant comes back to the rear heater matrix and the transmission sends the oil forward to the cooler, all the pipes are close together.

Hi Muz just popped my head under the opposite side from the sliding door and i can see what you are referring to, i'll have to get it jacked up to see properly and when the suns not so bright, at least i know know where to start looking cheers mate, hope your keeping well, Colin

You say a foot in, from the driver's side or passenger side? If it's the passenger side it'll be a coolant leak, if it's the driver's side it could be either :wink:

Have you had the aircon on in this weather, all aircons will drain onto the floor under the car.
