Hi All apologies as i know this must of been answered loads but i cant see a specific answer anywhere
My bongo burst a pipe yesterday the one that is under the drivers seat top of the engine and goes towards the front about 2" pipe so while its out of action i was going to flush out the cooling system
how would i do it i did see a makeshift "hose lock" to coolant hose adapter in here somewhere (but i cant find it again)
do i need to make one of these and then attach it to the engine (or lower pipe) and just run it until clear water comes out , i assume i need to run it long enough so the engine gets hot to open thermostat allow radiator flushing too
is there anything i need to know as to not knacker my engine up
Thanks
In advance
Stu

Don't have the engine running while attempting to flush the system, but as you have hoses disconnected, you should be able to get reasonable flow even with the thermostat closed.
