Hello all,
I recently bought a 1996 bongo which the 30A fuse was missing for the rear heater. I have now replaced the fuse and the rear heater is now blowing but it only blows cold air, even when the front is blowing hot. What can I do???
Thank you for your time
Jack

What type of controls have you got at the front: digital or manual? The rear controls are slightly different but both will need the slider or knob set to the hot setting.

Ive got the digital control panel in the front and the manual panel with a sliding knob to set the temp in the back both are set to the highest temp and it still blows cold.

Re: Rear Heater blowing cold???
In that case, I would guess that a previous owner has bypassed the rear heater perhaps due to a leak in the matrix, or a problem with the steel pipes that run to the rear heater. Have a look under the sill on the drivers side just behind the door and see if there are 2 rubber coolant pipes running up into the van. There should also be two metal pipes for the A/C although these will have a black foam sleeve over them.
