I intend to take toe top off repair the bamage with Arldite and drill new holes for the screws to tap into. Has anyone had this problem any advice would be helpfull. Many thanks.

Yup, its a common problem see here http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=31554
Watch out when you attempt to undo the screws they use Loctite on the threads so a strong constant torque on the screw is needed, so make sure you use the correct screwdriver and rather than jerking it keep up a constant pressure until they start to turn. Also worth trying to wedge each boss in place whilst the araldite sets to make sure its really well home in the hole! I used some garden canes last time around, trimmed to length as needed.
